This Nam Dinh 16K Gold Plated Natural Rattan (Straw/Wicker) & Black Horn Earrings is handwoven by artisans in northern Vietnam using rattan. Rattan is a climbing palm found in Southeast Asia; and similar to the strength and durability of bamboo, rattan has been used for many years to make baskets and trays. At Hathorway, our rattan is planted, harvested, sorted and dried carefully in the province of Nam Dinh, Vietnam. Because of it's natural state, all of our rattan pieces will be slightly different in colors and patterns.

Ethically-sourced, our horns are a byproduct of the food industry. Meanwhile, their skin is repurposed as leather and horns and bones are repurposed for jewelry and accessories. Nothing of the buffalo goes to waste. These horns are organic and is created without any chemicals — making our horn jewelry 100% eco-friendly and sustainable for our planet.
